If the temperature limit trips, the electric heater relays willbe de--energized and the fan relay will be energized. Once the limit resets, the control will resume normal operation. If the limit trips fourtimes during a single call for heat, the control will go into a 1 hour soft lockout. During the soft lockout, the fan relay will respond tothermostat inputs but the heater relays are disabled. If the control detects a limit trip during the soft lockout, the control will go into a hardlockout. Once in a hard lockout, the fan relay is locked on and the heater relays are disabled. Turning the power to the unit off and then onwill clear this state.9
