This is m<strong>an</strong>ifested <strong>in</strong> the fact that the great majority <strong>in</strong> all <strong>of</strong> thecountries ch<strong>an</strong>ge their underp<strong>an</strong>ts after one day <strong>of</strong> use. This tendency isstrongest <strong>in</strong> Spa<strong>in</strong> <strong>an</strong>d the Netherl<strong>an</strong>ds, where 95 <strong>an</strong>d 94 % report this. InNorway <strong>an</strong>d Greece, respectively, 88 <strong>an</strong>d 87 % ch<strong>an</strong>ge underp<strong>an</strong>ts after a s<strong>in</strong>gleuse. Those who do not ch<strong>an</strong>ge their underp<strong>an</strong>ts after us<strong>in</strong>g them once aremost likely to ch<strong>an</strong>ge after us<strong>in</strong>g them twice.In Norway <strong>an</strong>d the Netherl<strong>an</strong>ds 98 % <strong>of</strong> the respondents wash their underp<strong>an</strong>ts<strong>in</strong> a wash<strong>in</strong>g mach<strong>in</strong>e. In Greece 12 % do the wash<strong>in</strong>g by h<strong>an</strong>d, comparedto 9 % <strong>in</strong> Spa<strong>in</strong>.
