Contributors<br />

Kay Chronister (“Year’s End,” page 63) is a writer and editor<br />

from Seattle. She is the co-editor of fantasy e-zine Into the Willows<br />

and the author of several unpublished sci-fi and fantasy novels.<br />

Her story “Children of Giants” appeared in the September issue of<br />

<strong>Scareship</strong>.<br />

Grove Koger (“The Taking of the Rock,” page 3) works as an<br />

adjunct reference librarian at Albertsons Library, Boise State<br />

University. He is the author of a play, Ruby Testifies (Black Box<br />

Theatre, Bloomington, Indiana, 1990), and a survey of travel<br />

literature, When the Going Was Good (Scarecrow Press, 2002).<br />

He has published fiction and poetry in MicroHorror, Absinthe<br />

Revival, Bewildering Stories, Lonesome Fowl, and Deus Loci, and<br />

is currently compiling a guide to sea fiction.<br />

Jory Mickelson (“Extinction Existentialism,” page 16; “At the<br />

Center of the Controversy,” page 17; “Taxonomy without<br />

Autonomy,” page 18). His work has appeared in The Adirondack<br />

Review, PANK Magazine, Assaracus, New Mexico Poetry<br />

Review, PoetsArtists, and other journals. He loves William S.<br />

Burroughs, cats, and 1940s paper goods. He currently attends the<br />

University of Idaho where he is an MFA candidate in poetry.<br />

JBMulligan (“another Manhattan,” page 72) has had poems and<br />

stories in several hundred magazines, including recently, Deronda<br />

Review, Red Rock Review, Bluestem, Stone's Throw, Blue<br />

Unicorn, and Autumn Sky, and has had two chapbooks published:<br />

The Stations of the Cross and THIS WAY TO THE EGRESS, as<br />

well as appearing in the anthology Inside Out: A Gathering of<br />

Poets.<br />
