Full-time day students usually completerequirements in five to six terms. For students taking areduced load, a degree requires eight to ten terms.Courses taken in this curriculum are contracted betweenthe student and the major curriculum department headusing the guidelines below. General Education courserequirements can be completed at any time during theprogram. Courses can be completed in any order subjectto the completion of course prerequisites.CreditsDESCRIPTIONAcetylene, arc, MIG and TIG welding are covered in thisprogram. Students also will learn many processes suchas flux-cored arc welding, dual-shielded welding, plasmaand carbon arc cutting.
