Always book theseactivities with organisations recommended,recognised and approved by the local touristoffice.On land, Falmouth and its surrounding areaalso boast plenty of coastal walks and cyclepaths along the dramatic clifftops.Falmouth is linked to St Mawes by passengerferry which runs all year round. And duringthe summer months you also get over to Placefrom St Mawes via a short boat trip. Place ison the remote St Anthony headland, enablingvisitors to see the small church behind PlaceManor and the St Anthony Lighthouse.Falmouth OysterFestival 2012The Fal estuary is home to the lastremaining fleet of oyster fishermenin <strong>Cornwall</strong> and every October theycelebrate the start of the oysterharvest season with a four-dayfestival and fete.It takes place this year fromOctober 11-14.
