You are able to observe the communication strategies andaids which are working or not, in a relaxed atmosphere or situation.Informal Discussions with the ClientThese discussions will help you directly assess the client’s communication needs. Aninformal discussion could be part of your day-to-day interactions with the client which provideopportunities for informal learning.Remember that a person with complex communication needs cannot express theirrequirements as easily as others because of their limited language and can be subject toabuse or neglect.
