Day Of Healing For Bereavement After Suicide
The Healing Place to Screen International Broadcast for
Survivors
Each day in the U.S., approximately 90 people take their own lives, leaving
loved ones to struggle with the loss, grief and all of those questions that
begin with “Why…?”
The holiday season can be particularly difficult for survivors. To help, the
American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is broadcasting a program
called “Day of Healing for Bereavement After Suicide” on November 19 in
more than 250 cities around the world, including Eau Claire.
The program will be shown at The
Healing Place: A Center for Life’s
Journeys at 1010 Oakridge Drive,
Eau Claire, on November 19 from
11 am to 12:30 pm. The program is
free, but registration is required by
November 17. To register, call The
Healing Place at (715) 717-6028.
Participants are encouraged to
bring a bag lunch. Coffee, soda and
cookies will be provided.
hospital projects. Most items—necklaces,
