Through aprocess called ‘reverse transfer,’ former WNC students may combinethe credits they earned at Western with credits they earn at NevadaState College, the University of Nevada, Reno, or the University ofNevada, Las Vegas. Students can then receive an associate degreefrom WNC, even as they may be working toward a bachelor’s degree. In this way, they can achieve the enhanced earning power andprestige of completing an associate degree, while they continue theireducation.
