Reconstruction worksbegan in Hamilton Street, Oakleigh,Caloola Avenue, Oakleigh, RailwayAvenue, Oakleigh and KanookaGrove, Clayton• Invested $1.89 million on drainageworks, with major works in andaround Smyth Street, MountWaverley, Brandon Park Drive,Wheelers Hill and Remington Drive/Waverley Road, Glen Waverley• Spent $914,000 on resurfacing theasphalt of various roads and carparks in Mt Waverley, Glen Waverley,Ashwood and Mulgrave• Cleaned 67,731 metres of drains• Maintained more than 49km ofoff-road and 15km of on road bikepaths• Improved local bicycle paths,including a section of theScotchmans Creek Trail betweenForster Road and Waverley Road• Issued 53,682 parking infringements,with 10,355 appeals lodged and2,054 infringements withdrawn. Thetotal parking revenue generated was$3,87 million3.2 Providing clear direction toensure appropriate and high qualitydevelopment and accessible safepublic spaces.• Incorporated an Amendment intothe Monash Planning Scheme12
