2.7 Dual Enrolment and Part AdmissionUnder this provision, if you are studying in a regular school, or have already passed Secondary/SeniorSecondary examination or any other higher course from any recognised Board/University, you may optfor upto four subjects of your choice, to update knowledge and educational qualifications. However, onpassing, only the Marksheet will be issued and no other certificate will be issued .2.8 Fee Structure for Admission(a) Admission fee payable for Secondary/Senior Secondary coursesas given in Table-4 includes charges for registration, cost ofstudy materials, Personal Contact Programmes (PCPs), IdentityCard, evaluation of TMAs, etc. Do not pay any additional amountfor admission other than specified in below mentioned tables.NOTEFemale learners of Ladakh areexempted from payment ofRegistration Fee and Cost of Coursematerial. Bank branch will collect fee and return two copies ofbank challan after issuance of acknowledgement and putting a unique number on to the bank challanreceipt. The bank will charge Rs. 6/- (Rs. Six only) per student for this facility.Provision for Admission with consolidated late feeNOTELearners must choose theirStudy Centre very carefully.After the prescribed dates for stream I admissions, you still have the opportunity to register yourself bypaying the requisite admission fee along with consolidated late fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred)up to the next 15 days form the scheduled closing date of admission.NIOS will not be responsible if the request for admission is not considered on account of short paymentdeposited with the AI or if no seat is available with the AI.Prospectus 2012-13 : 11
