Map Notes for2008 WRXSupported Vehicles: USDM 2008 WRX Manual TransmissionMap Revision: Stage1 91 MTv300 Stage2 91 MTv300 Stage1 93 MTv300 Stage2 93 MTv300 Stage1 ACN91 MTv300 Stage2 ACN91 MTv300Map Availability: Download from the COBB Tuning Subaru WRX OTS Map Database.Required AccessPORT Firmware: 1.6.4.0 or greaterHardware Requirements: Stage1 - Otherwise stock vehicle with the followingmodifications*: Intake requirements: Stock airbox with stock air filter Exhaust requirements: Stock exhaust or upgraded cat-back exhaustHardware Requirements: Stage2 - Otherwise stock vehicle with the followingmodifications*: Intake requirements: Stock airbox with stock air filter Exhaust requirements: Upgraded turbo-back exhaust*** The addition of any other hardware may make the vehicle perform poorly.** The Stage2 maps were developed using a COBB Tuning turbo-back exhaust system with a high-flow catalyticconverter. An equivalent turbo-back exhaust system could also be used. If a lesser flowing turbo-back exhaustsystem is used then boost targets may not be achievable. These maps are NOT designed to be used with anaftermarket race downpipe that does not have a catalytic converter (i.e. catless). Doing so greatly increases thechance for boost spikes and boost creep.Additional Notes:Additional modifications such as a lightweight crank pulley, aftermarket uppipe, or recirculating by-pass valve arestill within the acceptable modifications for this calibration. If any knock or detonation is present even when usingthe appropriate fuel, try reflashing a map that is intended for a lower octane fuel. If your modifications do notmatch the hardware requirements listed above, you can have a custom AccessPORT map made at one of theCOBB Tuning retail and service centers or one of the many professional Subaru Pro-Tuners and e-Tuners.2311 W Rundberg Ln. Fuel Requirements:Each map lists the minimum required octane. A higher octane fuel can be used safely on a mapdesigned for lower octane. DO NOT use maps designed for higher octane with lower octanefuels. Top Tier gasoline should be used where available.CaMaps designated with “93” are for use with 93 and 94 octane fuel or better.Maps designated with “91” are for use with 91 and 92 octane fuel or better.Maps designated with “ACN91” are for use with 91 octane fuel found inArizona, California, and Nevada or better.Typical Stage1 and Stage2 vs. Stock Power:Stage1 ACN91 - +5% HP / +8% TQ over stockStage1 91 - +7% HP / +10% TQ over stockStage1 93 - +9% HP / +10% TQ over stockStage2 ACN91 - +9% HP / +9% TQ over stockStage2 91 - +11% HP / +10% TQ over stockStage2 93 - +13% HP / +14% TQ over stockResults may vary. Power as tested on 2008 WRX vehicles using these identical calibrations. Generallyspeaking, the 91 and ACN91 calibrations run slightly lower boost, have a richer fuel curve, and a less aggressiveignition advance map to help compensate for 91 octane fuel; Arizona, California, and Nevada 91 octane fuel;and/or less than ideal atmospheric conditions. The maps designed for 93 octane are the most aggressive.2311 W Rundberg Ln. Suite 500 Austin, TX 78758 | Phone: 866.922.3059 | Fax: 512.997.6400 | www.cobbtuning.com

The above dyno graph demonstrates the fuel curve that should be measured from the exhaust stream. The RPMreference can be found on the X-axis in pink numbers; the A/F Ratio reference can be found on the Y-axis inblack numbers. If your fuel curve is not within +/- 0.4 A/F from this calibration, then you may need to have thevehicle analyzed by a professional tuning facility. Hardware such as drop-in panel filters and intakes can skewthe MAF sensor signal and create a dangerously lean fuel curve. This calibration has been established to runwith the stock intake system using the stock intake filter only. The above dyno graph demonstrates the relative pressure (boost) curve that should be measured from the intakemanifold. The RPM reference can be found on the X-axis in pink numbers; the relative pressure (boost) can befound on the Y-axis in green numbers. If your boost curve is not within +/- 0.8psi from this calibration then youmay need to have the vehicle analyzed by a professional tuning facility.2311 W Rundberg Ln.
