She became one of only24 women in the history of NCAA Division I women’s basketball who hadplayed for a team that was ranked in the AP Top-25 and later coached ateam that earned a top-25 ranking. Even more rare was the fact the Butlerplayed for and coached the SAME team that earned a top-25 ranking, becoming only the sixth woman ever to accomplish that feat.Florida has had eight different full-time women’s basketball head coachesand Butler is the only one to lead the Gators to a postseason berth in eachof her first five years with the program.Butler was the Gator’s starting point guard when UF earned its first-everNCAA Tournament berth (1992-93 season). She started 99 of the 114games she played during her four-year career (1990-94).Overall (at UF) Home Away NeutralMississippi 5-1 (5-1) 2-1 (2-1) 3-0 (3-0) 0-0Mississippi State 7-1 (7-1) 4-0 (4-0) 3-1 (3-1) 0-0Missourifirst meetingMurray State 1-0 1-0 0-0 0-0Nebraska 0-1 (0-1) 0-0 0-1 (0-1) 0-0N.C.
