GLOBE VALVE SECTIONGlobe valve are closing-down valves in which the closuremember is moved squarely on and off the seat. Inthis way the opening of the port is directly proportionalto the travel of the disc. This proportional relationship isideally suited for duties requiring regulation of flowrate. To have a further precision in regulation the discelement can be available in the parabolic, needle, veeporttypes. Furthermore the short travel of the discbetween the open and closed position makes these valvesideally suited for on-off duties when they must beopened and closed frequently. Globe valves are unidirectionalvalves and are installed so that fluid pressureis under the disc. They are supplied in variousmodels to cover the different services. Among these valvesthe Eco-L-Valve ® combines the characteristics oftotal safety against leakages to the easy substitution ofthe most delicate components such as the bellows.
