Solid State Hall EffectPosition SensorsSR13/15 SeriesFEATURES• 3.8 to 30 VDC supplyvoltage• Digital current sinkingoutput• Snap-in or flat mountpackages• Quad-Hall design eliminatesstress effects• Temperature compensatedmagnetics• Bipolar, unipolar andlatching magnetics• High output capability,50mA absolute maximum• Operating temperaturerange -40˜C to +150˜C• Varying leadwire lengths of24 AWG Radox wireThe newly introduced SR13/15 Series package enhancements permit quickand easy sensor installation, increasing the usability of the SS400 Series. These devices can be installed without additional mounting hardware. Thesnap-in and flat mount sensor packages can house any of the presentSS400 Series sensors or any similarly sized sensing elements. Thepackages also provide varying 24AWG Radox leadwire lengths orconnector capabilities.WARNINGPERSONAL INJURY• DO NOT USE theseproducts as safety oremergency stop devices orin any other applicationwhere failure of the productcould result in personalinjury.Failure to comply with theseinstructions could result indeath or serious injury. The SS400 Series position sensors have a thermally balanced integratedcircuit that provides predictable performance for the -40˜C to +150˜Coperating temperature range. The SS400 Series band gap regulationprovides stable operation over 3.8 to 30 VDC. Current consumption is 10mA at +40˜C ambient temperature. SS400 Series sensors are capable ofcontinuous 20 mA sinking output. The sensors may be cycled as high as50 mA maximum. Bipolar, unipolar and latching magnetics are available.WARNINGMISUSE OF DOCUMENTATION• The information presented in this product sheet is for reference only.Do not use this document as product installation information.• Complete installation, operation, and maintenance information isprovided in the instructions supplied with each product.Failure to comply with these instructions could result in death or seriousinjury.Sensing and Control
