Campaign Description1.1 What is the Vodafone “SmartCash” Mega SMS Promo?The Vodafone“SmartCash” campaign refers to a promotion where Vodafone Fijisubscribers are challengedto answer trivia questions, and win great prizes:• FJD 500 cash every day (except Sundays)• FJD 1,000 cash every week (on Sundays)!• FJD 50,000 cash final prize (on last day)1.2 What is the promotion duration?The promotion has duration of 56days, starting from Monday14 th of January 2013until Sunday 10 th of March2013, inclusive.1.3 Where can I find the detailed Terms & Conditions of the Campaign?The campaign’s Terms & Conditions are posted on Vodafone’s public web site:http://www.vodafone.com.fj. Participants may as well acquire, additional information regarding theregulation of the campaign by calling at Customer Care on 123(charged line) from their Vodafonemobilephone.2. Participation2.1 Who is eligible to participate?All subscribers of Vodafoneare eligible to participate, except the following:• Employees of Vodafone Fiji Ltd.• Employees of the Game’s suppliers and judges• Employees of any company directly collaborating with Vodafone for the purpose of executing thePromotion (including Fiji Sun)• Spouses and blood relatives of the above, up to the first degree2.2 How can I participate?• In order to enter the promotion, you must send “WIN” to the Short Code 2013.• Every SMS sent to 2013costs 2 FJD including Tax.• After you send the first SMS, you will receive a welcome message acknowledging registrationand asecond message with the first trivia question.• Questions are answered by simply sending the numbers 1 (one) or 2 (two).• Every time you answer a question, you will receive a message informing you about the answer beingright or wrong and providing you the next question.2.3 How many times can/should I participate?• There is no limit in the amount of times you can participate.

• For every SMS you send to 2013 you receive points.• The more SMS you send to 2013the more chances to WIN on a draw and become eligible of being aweekly Top Scorer.• Send at least one SMS to 2013every day to activate your points and participate inall draws.• The first SMS you sent in order to register the promotion gives you one hundred (100) points.2.4 What is the meaning of points?• Points are used as entry tickets in daily and grand prizedraws. Furthermore, points are accumulatedby the participant and define the weekly top scorers.• The first (welcome) message (on registration for the promotion) gives you one hundred (100) points.Correct answers to questions give you at least fifty (50) points.Every other SMS you send gives you at least ten (10) points.• For daily prize draws you get as many entries to the draw as your total points up to that day, so themore you play, the more you increase your chances in draws!• Weekly Top Scorer is declared the one who has accumulated the most points from the beginning of theweek until the end of that week (week definition: Monday 00:00:00 to Sunday 23:59:59)Participantshave to send at least one (1) SMS during that particular week to become eligible for this prize, so keepplaying throughout the promotion!• For the grand prize draw, you get as many entries to the draw as your total points throughout thewhole promotion.• During the promotion, you will have the chance to receive extra (bonus) points through additionalsurprise challenges.2.5 What are the extra bonus points and how can I get them?• You may receive SMS messages that will contain information about the various ways of getting extrapoints. We may, at our discretion, determine the type and time frame of the SMS challenges whichwill yield more points than the usual, by sending an SMS when prompted, for example “football”,“hangman”, “lost symbol”, “up and down”, etc.• These “bonus” phases will last from half an hour to one day, will be equally accessible to allparticipants, and will be communicated via an SMS.2.6 How many points do I have?• After almost every SMS that you send to 2013you will receive a reply SMS that will inform you of thetotal amount of points you have accumulated up to that moment.• In addition, if you wish to know how many points you have, you may send the keyword BAL orPOINTS(in capital letters) to 2014 (free of charge), at any time.• For every command keyword you send to 2014, you don’t receive any points.• You may acquire additional information regarding the total number of your entries, prizes, includingdetails regarding award of prizes, any other aspect of the campaign, as well as for suggestions orpossible claims by calling at Customer Care on 123 (charged line)from your Vodafonemobile.

2.7 I have sent a message but my total amount of points wasn’t updated; why?• In order to win points, you need to send SMSs to 2013 (cost 2 FJD including tax/sms).• If you feel there is an error or require further assistance regarding your accumulated points, pleasecall Customer Care on 123from your Vodafonemobile phone. All messages are logged.2.8 I want to stop receiving informational SMS about the promotion• You can send the keyword STOP (in capital letters) to 2014(free of charge)and you will stop receivinginformational messages.• For every command keyword you send to 2014, you don’t receive any points.• If you send any message to 2013 or 2014after you send STOP, you will start receiving messages again.2.9 Can I play with different mobile phones?You can participate with as many different Vodafonenumbers (MSISDNs) you wish.However, each one accumulates points for the Top Scorer prizes and participates separately in the draws.2.10 Can my participations be transferred in case I change my number (SIM card)?Your participations cannot be transferred.You can start participating in the promotion using a new SIM card, but you have to keep the old one, sinceyou will be contacted to that number in case of winning with that one.2.11 I sent a message but didn’t receive a reply SMSIf you have not received a reply SMS, verify the following:• Check if your mobile is full of messages and doesn’t have enough of memory to receive new ones.Please erase some messages to free up some memory.• The message wasn’t sent to the correct number.Check that you sent the SMS to the Short Code 2013 (or 2014 in case you want to opt out or requestinformation about your total points).• There is a chance the network in your area is overloaded at the moment.3. Prizes and Draws3.1 What are the prizes?Vodafonehas planned to give away the following prizes:• FJD 500 cashto 1 winner, declared through a draw, every day (except Sundays).• FJD 1,000 cash every week (on Sundays)to one (1) weeklyTop Scorer.• FJD 50,000 cash grand prize to 1 winner, declared through a draw.

Therefore, just 1 SMS every day makes a participant eligibleto enter ALL daily draws.• Declaration of the weekly winner for FJD 1,000 in cash (on Sundays)The participant who has accumulated the most points from the beginning of the week until the end ofa week is declared top scorer of that particular week and awarded the prize of a FJD 1,000 in cash.All participants who have sent at least one (1) SMS from the beginning of the week(Monday 00.00.01)until the end of that particular week (Sunday 23:59:59) are eligible to become top scorers.Participants have to send at least one (1) SMS during a particular day to become eligible for thisweekly prize.• Draw for the final (grand) prize of FJD 50,000 in cashParticipants have to send at least one (1) SMS throughout the whole promotion to enter the draw forthis prize.Participants enter the draw with entries equal to their accumulated points from start of the promotionup to the end of the promotion.3.3 How are winners notified?• Draws and declaration of winners will be conducted at Vodafone premises every Monday, for all prizesof the previous week, in the presence of Vodafone Team and Auditor. Vodafone may use the winners’data (including names, surnames, initials, photos, and video images) for advertising purposes with noprior consent and free of charge.• Vodafone will contact winners by phone, and never via SMS. Once a winner is contacted, Vodafone willmake reasonable attempts to verify that the person on the line is the selected entrant.• Winning participants will be called a maximum 3 times after the draw. If the winning number does notanswer after 3 calls,it will forfeit the prize and a runner-up will be chosen for the same prize instead.
