Approved appropriation of $2,500 in Revenue Sharing monies to the Placer CountyFire Safe Alliance to defray the cost of the annual newspaper insert "Fire & Water", asrequested by Supervisors Santucci, Weygandt, White, Gaines and Bloomfield.c. Approved appropriation of $250 in Revenue Sharing monies to PEACE for Families toassist with the cost of their fund raising event "A Night of Comedy", on October 23, 2003,as requested by Supervisor Bloomfield.15. SHERIFF:a. Approved a Reimbursement Agreement with the U.S. Attorney's Office for thepurchase of a Fiber Optic Inspection System; authorized the Sheriff-Coroner-Marshall toexecute the agreement; added the equipment to the Master Fixed Asset List in the amountof $25,000; approved a budget revision and the sole source purchase of the equipment andauthorized the purchasing agent to execute the documents.b. Approved the request for excess vacation hours for an employee, as outlined in Chapter3, Section 3.04.470(D)(3)(a).c. Accepted a grant, in the amount of $73,892, for computer aided dispatching mappingsoftware licenses and training and authorized the Sheriff to execute the grant awardagreement with Public Safety Foundation of America.d.
