Includes adjustment and testing of engines.Prerequisite: first semester of program. Co-requisite: MM128C.MM133C Motorcycle Electrical Systems, 3 cr.Principles of construction and operation of various componentsin the electrical systems of a motorcycle, such as charging andstarting systems, along with accessories used in the motorcycleindustry. Testing, troubleshooting, disassembly/assembly andinstallation of electrical components will be covered. Lectureand laboratory. Prerequite: first two semesters of program.MM136C Motorcycle Drive Systems, 3 cr.Theory and operation of motorcycle drive trains. Clutches,transmission, shaft and chain/belt drive systems are covered.Includes disassembly/reassembly troubleshooting, inspection,failure analysis, adjustment and repair procedures. Lecture andlaboratory. Prerequisite: first two semesters of program.MM139C Motorcycle Fuel Systems, 3 cr.Motorcycle fuel systems including carburetion, fuel injectionand oil injection. Emphasis on the compositional andstylistic evolution of Western music as evidenced in the works ofselected pivotal composers.MU111A Ear Training and Sightsinging I, 1 cr.Introduces the solfeggio system of music reading. Both tonal andrhythmic patterns are included in the sight reading exercises aswell as principles of key relationships, intervals and triads.MU113A Music Theory I, 3 cr.Studies the fundamental principles of traditional theory includingmelody, rhythm and harmony. Develops and refines listening skills using diversetraditional and contemporary musical selections.MU152A High Brass Methods, 2 cr.Theory and methods of high brass instruments.MU162A Low Brass Methods, 2 cr.The pedagogy relevant to the elementary, beginning andintermediate student/musician studying the low brassinstruments (trombone, baritone horn, tuba).MU165A Class Voice, 1 cr.A course for beginning singers or students who have notpreviously studied voice.
