Description of the ERP project:
Michelfelder is a midsize group of companies, located in Fluorn-Winzeln and further
locations in Haan and Bursa (Turkey). In addition to the outsourcing of the Michelfelder
Automotive GmbH on January 1st, 2001, from the Michelfelder Edelstahltechnik GmbH, as
well as the upcoming integration of the subsidiary MIGA Sealtec, there was a requirement
in 2005 to change from the existing solution to a multi-client capable ERP system that
was able to comply with current requirements and processes of Michelfelder, and would
also be adaptable and evolutionary in the future to cover upcoming requirements and
continuous improvement.
