Description of the ERP project:
Due to the takeover of the worldwide business activities of leading shelving systems providers,
the newly established company had to implement an ERP software at short notice in 2005.
The abas partner was contacted on the recommendation of the key manufacturer. Four
weeks after the first contact was made the system was ready to go live. The actual project
with the distribution package, abas Distribution, only took three weeks. Amongst other things,
the external warehouse was connected and the reworked master files were imported. The
next planned step is to use the abas EDI tools more extensively.
