smelling), and a renunciation of luxury items<br />
that makes the difference even more pronounced.<br />
The Ayurveda cure is authentic and is based on<br />
classical and traditional teaching and treatment<br />
methods. The cooks prepare tasty meals from local<br />
and ultra-fresh ingredients based on the doshas but<br />
also adapted to guests who are not participating in<br />
the Ayurveda cure. The gentle yoga teacher, whose<br />
course at sunrise makes <strong>one</strong> happy to wake up from<br />
the relaxing holiday sleep, is unforgettable.<br />
The blissful resort is a jewel of landscaped<br />
beauty, architecture and design, ideal for holistic<br />
relaxation and inner peace in the midst of positive<br />
aesthetic values. The idea of returning is never far<br />
from my thoughts.<br />

Nicht bloß als wohlstandsgestresster Westtourist<br />
in den Liegen liegen und in den stahlblauen<br />
Himmel starren, nicht nur echte und gediegene Nahrung<br />
zu sich nehmen und im Swimming Pool entspannen,<br />
nicht nur Steinchen kaufen in Galle und den Einwohnern<br />
dortselbst freundlich auf die Schultern klopfen,<br />
nicht nur den Palmen ihre immergleichen Flüsterlieder<br />
ablauschen, sondern zugleich für die Kinder<br />
dort etwas tun, ihnen Bildung und Ausbildung zu ermöglichen,<br />
das mildert zwar nicht das immer etwas<br />
schlechte Gewissen, aber es ist wenigstens durchmasert<br />
von Solidarität. Alles Gute und weiter und mehr<br />
von dieser Art!<br />
Not only to lie on a lounger as a prosperous<br />
Western tourist and stare at the steel blue sky,<br />
not only to enjoy authentic and sumptuous food<br />
and to relax by the swimming pool, not only to buy<br />
st<strong>one</strong>s in Galle and give the locals a friendly tap on<br />
the shoulder, not only to listen to the palm trees<br />
swaying gently in the wind, but also to do something<br />
there for the children, to give them the chance<br />
to go to school – all this is not enough to assuage<br />
a guilty conscience but it is at least a sign of solidarity.<br />
