Dieses Lächeln! Überall, auf dem Weg zur Schule,
in den Klassenzimmern, im Lehrerzimmer, auf
dem Heimweg, im Gästehaus Bogenvillya... Dieses
spontane, ehrliche Lächeln, das war wirklich etwas
Einmaliges!
Wir durften für sechs Monate an der one world
foundation – free education unit als Englischlehrer
arbeiten. Was uns erwarten würde, war uns gänzlich
ungewiss. Doch diese Offenheit, Freude, Dankbarkeit
– und dieses Lächeln – haben uns jeden Tag aufs Neue
gezeigt, dass wir hier, genau hier und nirgends
anders, sein sollten.
Unsere Zeit in der free education unit und der
Bogenvillya war eine einmalige Erfahrung und Möglichkeit
für uns, von der wir noch unseren Urenkeln
erzählen werden. Wenn uns jemand fragen würde,
wofür die one world foundation steht, wäre die Antwort
diese unglaublich positive Energie in dieser Oase
der Hoffnung – und dieses Lächeln!

These smiles! Everywhere, on the way to school,
in the classrooms, the teachers’ room, on the
way home, in the Bogenvillya guesthouse. These
spontaneous, genuine smiles are really something
unique.
We had the privilege of working for six months
as English teachers at the one world foundation free
education unit. We didn’t know at all what to expect,
but the openness, joy, gratitude – and these smiles –
demonstrated to us every day that this was where
we were meant to be.
Our time in the free education unit and Bogen -
villya was a unique experience and opportunity for
us that we will be telling our great-grandchildren
about. If anyone were to ask us what the one world
foundation does, we would talk of the incredibly
positive energy in this oasis of hope – and these
smiles!
