NAD KLimaLinear diffuserSpecifications for SAL 351 - Description and Physical Characteristics1.1 The SAL 35 ceiling air diffusers from NAD Klima, compriseextruded aluminum profiles with one or two or more slots(due to combining units) of a 35 mm width, with eccentriccylinders in ABS plastic material available in flat black orwhite.1.2 The eccentric NAD Klima cylinders of 100 mm length areentirely individually adjustable and can rotate fully (360°).As a result, the SAL 35 remains entirely adjustable,providing the whole range of diffusion possibilities.1.3 The diffuser is supplied with support profile or narrowprofile.2 - Performance2.1 The SAL 35 diffuser ensures a high rate of induction evenin a variable volume situation, maintaining an acceptabletemperature differential at the air blast. Thisdifferential is the difference between the temperature atsetpoint and the temperature of the air projected by thediffuser into an occupied zone.2.2 The SAL 35 diffuser's performance is assured by simulationsoftware, indicating pressure drop and soundpower generated and showing a cross-sectional view ofthe critical airflow distance and the nominal velocity inan occupied zone in cooling , heating and isothermalmodes, at a height of 1.8 m from the floor or accordingto engineers' requirements.3 - Connection3.1 The diffuser is supplied complete with a plenumfabricated by the manufacturer. It is made of gauge 24galvanized steel and is equipped with suspension pointsat the four corners. The input brace is centred on theside and adapted to the projected airflow rate. Theinside joints are sealed with silicone.3.2 The SAL 35 diffuser includes a stabilizing (equalizing)plate for the airflow rate.4 -Balancing4.1 The SAL 35 diffuser's balancing must be carried out by atechnician trained in ventilation system balancingholding a certificate of professional competence from arecognized institution.5- Quality required: NAD Klima, model SAL 3514 1.1.3 SAL 35Subject to technical changes.
