Retirement in 2008 from GWU led to being pastor of the <strong>International</strong> <strong>Baptist</strong>Church in Cologne, Germany. Retirement from there in 2010 led to actual retirement and volunteerservice through the <strong>International</strong> <strong>Baptist</strong> Church in San José, Costa Rica. Along this journey hascome guest professorships and lectureships in the German universities of Bonn, Heidelberg, andGöttingen, as well as at the Prediger Seminar in Hamburg.
