Arrangement 9SWSI — Single Width, Single InletArrangement 9 is available as belt driven only. Amotor slide base is mounted on the side of thebearing pedestal. This arrangement permits the unitto ship as a complete assembly with the motor anddrive mounted.SWSIArrangementsArrangement 9FSWSI — Single Width, Single Inlet(Not Shown)Arrangement 9F is available when a unit requiresa motor that is too large to mount on the side ofthe bearing pedestal. The fan base is extended toaccommodate the motor, for horizontal mounting,similar to an Arrangement 1 fan. Arrangement 9F isnot suitable for mounting vibration isolators directlyunder the fan.Fan shown is Arrangement 9 CCW-UBD withmotor on left-hand side.Arrangement 10SWSI — Single Width, Single InletArrangement 10 is available in sizes 122 through600 as belt driven only. An Arrangement 10 unithas an adjustable motor base mounted inside thebearing pedestal. This arrangement offers a morecompact design than the Arrangement 9 and is suitablefor roof or outdoor installations with a weathercover. For Class I and II fans, sizes 122 through365, Arrangement 10 units are commonly referred toas Ventilating Sets. (Refer to Catalog 600 for moredetails.)Arrangement 3DWDI fans are generally supplied in Arr. 3 for V-beltdrive. The wheel is mounted between the bearingsand supported by the fan housing. Since both bearingsare located in the airstream, standard DWDIfans should be used for clean air applications withair temperatures limited to 130°F. The motor can bemounted in any of the four standard motor positions:W, X, Y or Z.Arrangement 3F (Not Shown)Arr. 3F offers an integral extended base to accommodatethe motor. The base is prepunched to acceptvibration isolators. Arr. 3F is available to Size 660 andfor motor positions W and Z as standard.
