Definition and Selection of CompetenciesAnnexe B: Interview ProtocolThe interviews conducted for the purposes of this paper took placebetween March and June 1998. The interviews were conducted in bothSwitzerland and the United States, depending on the participants’schedules. An in-person interview was conducted in all cases but one,where a phone interview was conducted instead. The interviews wererecorded, transcribed, and shared among the authors.
