Consequently, for each of the key findings areas, the information gathered has been considered together<strong>and</strong> analysed in terms of the key issues, what is working well currently <strong>and</strong> suggested further actions <strong>and</strong> action partners 23 . Where it is useful,however, issues pertaining to a particular newcomer group have been highlighted. For each section, the focus group material has beenreproduced, unchanged, to provide an authentic backdrop to the analysis. This information is extremely useful <strong>and</strong> provides a basis from whichto determine priorities for future investment to improve the settling in process for newcomers to <strong>Palmerston</strong> <strong>North</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Feilding</strong>. It is importantto note that, while many of the issues raised by newcomers relate directly to their experiences as refugees <strong>and</strong> migrants, other issues mayalso be of concern to the wider community.SETTLING IN PALMERSTON NORTH AND FEILDING23There is some overlap across the areas, particularly in relation to suggested further action. However,actions <strong>and</strong> action partners have been repeated, where relevant, so that each sector report can beconsidered independently.23
