Students develop conceptual and technical skills asthey learn how to diagnose and solve problems in the course of understanding the basic building blocksof computing.Make students aware of ethical, moral and legal constraints that have influenced or may govern anydevelopment so that students recognise the consequences of decisions made in respect to thedevelopment and use of technology.Encourage students to study computer science in context as it is applied in the workforce and home orwith the aim of pursuing further studies in the future. It gives students practical and interpersonal skillsthat equip them to function effectively in a world where these attributes are vital for employability anddaily life in a technological society.COURSE OUTCOMESThe Computer Science course is designed to facilitate the achievement of four outcomes based on theTechnology and Enterprise learning area outcomes in the Curriculum Framework.
