HOUSING LAND IN FYLDEIntroductionAt the end of March each year, a survey is undertaken throughout the Borough toassess the availability of housing land and to calculate the amount of newdevelopment which has taken place during the preceding year. The results of thesurvey enable the Council to monitor the uptake of housing land.This Schedule sets out the results of that survey, giving some key facts regardingrecent housing completions and planning permissions granted, comparisons withprevious years and an assessment of the current housing land situation in Fylde.It is important to note that the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) waspublished on 27 th March 2012 three days before the end of the monitoring period.Paragraphs 47-55 Delivering a Wide Choice of Quality Homes replace the policiespreviously provided by PPS3 Housing, which is referred to in this document.http://www.communities.gov.uk/planningandbuilding/planningsystem/planningpolicy/planningpolicyframework/1
