STATEMENT
“My recent artwork has been conceived with a profound
cinematographic influence.
The cinema itself interests me as a source, specially the
experimental cinema and the black & white footage from
the mid 20th century.
Every project starts with a paper-based storyboarding
and from that piece, I develop scenarios and create characters
and stories that I take into the audiovisual format
by means of the stop-motion animation technic.
The artwork is focused on themes such as the metamorphosis
and the transformation process to produce
the animation, where mutant characters, objects that
come into life or any other type of creature are born after
the mixture of everyday reality and personal events. “
