Always something special
Even in the middle of the 1970s
Stappert Spezial-Stahl Handel was
a forerunner in the storage of special
profiles in the qualities 1.4301
and 1.4571. These included U and
T profiles, IPE and IPB sections
and special equal and unequal leg
angles. Initially these profiles were
produced in extruded versions. In
the meantime the production process
has changed. Today they are
mainly rolled or laser-welded and
mostly adapted to DIN norms.
Laser-welded profiles also have a
reduced weight in comparison to
PERFECTION
Synergies between
pipes, fittings and hollow bars

also considerably cheaper.
Currently Stappert warehouses
stock profiles in the qualities
1.4301, 1.4404 and 1.4571 – all of
them mainly in production lengths
of 6 metres, although fixed lengths
are also supplied on request.
Drawing profiles in
special materials
In addition to the standard profiles
held in stock, Stappert also supplies
drawing profiles according to
Perfection
customer requirements. The range
comprises not only standard materials,
but also special items such as
heat or corrosion-resistant steels.
This applies to small quantities or
lengths greater than 6 metres. The
delivery programme for profiles,
e.g. sections, is supplemented by
welded connections of high-grade
steel with steel qualities which in
certain applications offer inexpensive
alternatives. For anyone

The interplay between pipes, fittings and hollow bars
This is the title of a new Stappert catalogue which
was compiled last year. On a total of 102 pages the
customer can find the full diversity of the “... nature
of steel” in the fields of pipes, fittings and hollow bars
– from seamless to welded, from stainless through
highly corrosion-resistant to heat-resistant, from
round to rectangular or square. In a wide range of
qualities and dimensions and with individual problemrelated
solutions for all types of applications and
requirements. For special sizes, special quantities or
special tolerances. For inspections, surface structures
or special corrosion and/or temperature requirements.

Seamless, stainless steel pipes
Hot-formed (HFD or c2) or cold-formed (CFD or CFA, h or m), heat-treated, pickled or
bright metal surface, available in lengths from 4 to 7 m
Technical delivery conditions
DIN 17456, DIN EN 10216-5 or DIN 17458, (TC / Pk) 1 and / or (TC / Pk) 2, also in combination
with AD 2000 code of practice W 2. ASTM A 312 TP 304 / TP 304L / TP 321 / TP 316 /
TP 316L (TP 316Ti)

DIN EN ISO 1127, tolerances:
Cold-formed pipes D2 / T3, D3 / T3 or D4 / T3
Hot-formed pipes D2 / T2
Cold formed pipes with outside diameters 4–28 mm, o.d. in accordance with DIN EN 10305-1
