orders” to the full satisfaction of the customers –<br />
whether this involved 80 excavator buckets within 3<br />
weeks or the production of a standard bucket according<br />
to customer specifications, including an adapter<br />
plate and hydraulic device, within 24 hours. Of course<br />
it is important in such cases for Reschke's suppliers<br />
to play their part. An example of this the ABRAService<br />
of <strong>Stappert</strong>, which guarantees the reliable supply of<br />
wear-resistant and high-strength steels – no matter<br />
how short the notice.<br />
Large components for big<br />
All of Reschke's customers are dealers who sell Reschke<br />
products to renowned manufacturers of earthmoving<br />
equipment: from Volvo to Mitsubishi, from<br />
Caterpillar to Komatsu, from Liebherr to Hitachi. They<br />
all trust the high quality and individuality of Reschke<br />
products. And the larger the machine for which a<br />
Reschke component is required, the more Reschke's<br />
designers enjoy their work. “It really becomes great fun<br />
with machines weighing 20 tonnes and up,” explains<br />
Uwe Rehor, who within the framework of design and<br />
production planning is happy to resort to the in-depth<br />
production opportunities offered by the ABRAService.<br />
Training Instead of Job Cuts<br />
Silvia Reschke also uses unusual methods in the<br />
organisation of her own company. While others “outsource”,<br />
she puts her faith in the strength of the company's<br />
own employees. Education and training are a<br />
major priority in order to attract high-quality<br />
employees or further the skills of the existing ones.<br />
Many have been working for the company for more<br />
than 10 years. “We have a healthy mixture of experienced<br />
and young employees, which in my opinion is<br />
the key to success,” says Silvia Reschke. We are currently<br />
searching for additional qualified employees in<br />
order to strengthen our design and production departments.<br />

Plans and visions<br />
Business is booming both at home and abroad. Today<br />
approximately 30% of the goods produced at the works<br />
in Hesse are sent all over the world. Russia in particular<br />
promises a high growth potential in the future. For this<br />
reason it has already been decided to continue expansion<br />
of the production areas in 2008. “After that I would<br />
like to set up a kind of research and development department<br />
which cooperates with the technical universities<br />
and which can therefore offer our customers<br />
genuine innovations,” Silvia Reschke goes on, explaining<br />
her vision for the future. And anyone who sees<br />
how the eyes of this dynamic Managing Director light<br />
up as she says it does not doubt for one second that<br />
she will achieve her ambitious target.<br />
