Hethrows a prettynice football and is a threat to throw theball.”When area fans think of Randolph,they think of “Ground and Pound” football.But, a quick look at the stats showsthat Maycock (6-0, 185) has been veryeffictive this season.The junior has completed 37 of 71passes for 653 yards and 10 TDs.“He’s done very well,” Slater said.“He’s not a fantastic runner but he knowsthe offense and he can pick his spots tothrow. He’s had agood season.”Maycock’s olderbrother Mike startedat QB whenRandolph won theNYS championshipin 2009.“These kids arestarting to look likethe 2009 team,”Slater said. “Theyare starting to getsome of the samecharacteristics ofthe 2005 and the2009 teams.
