The PDP led efforts<strong>to</strong> develop a model <strong>to</strong> solicit sponsorships and support which provided the groundwork that led the Pittsburgh Steelers, Rivers Casino, Alco Parking Corporation andthe Stadium Authority of the City of Pittsburgh <strong>to</strong> reach an agreement with the PortAuthority <strong>to</strong> provide funding that expands the free fare zone <strong>to</strong> the new AlleghenyStation on the North Shore.OUR APPROACH FOR 2013The core of <strong>our</strong> work as a Business Improvement District is <strong>to</strong> enhance theexperience offered <strong>to</strong> users of Down<strong>to</strong>wn. We are very proud of the results of <strong>our</strong>Clean and Safe program and will continue <strong>to</strong> partner with the City of Pittsburgh<strong>to</strong> ensure this success continues.
