Links between the three activity branches of Avionic-XV. CONCLUSIONThe Avionic-X project covers a wide range oftechnologies and avionics functions. It will provide a testbench to integrate innovative technologies. Itscomplementarities with other existing programs like FLPPwill allow to contribute effectively to future launcherdevelopments. It was initiated in the frame of the FrenchPIA, but it remains open to the European partners involved inAvionics systems. The development plan is foreseen to adopt iterativecycles in order to integrate new technology demonstrationswhich are not necessarily identified yet. This flexibility willallow, up to 2013, to associate new partners who wouldpropose innovative solutions for launcher avionics.VI.REFERENCES[1] Standish Group (2004) CHAOS Report.
