What not to wear. I.Tips for female students:1. Don’t wear short skirts.2. Don’t show your midriff.3. Undergarments will notbe showing.4. Your upper torso will notbe exposed.

What not to wear. II.REGARDLESS TOTIGHTS OR LEGGINGS,SKIRTS AND SHORTSMUST BE APPROACHINGTHE KNEE IN LENGTH.The skirt in this picture is not acceptable.

What not to wear. III.All tops must coverthe upper torsoappropriately. Notank tops, spaghettistraps, or swoopneck shirts areallowed. The midriffmust be covered aswell.

Other items that are notappropriate at schoolBody piercing is not allowed.Earrings that are a distraction will be taken out.

Hair color and styles• All hair color must be a natural hair color.• Hair must not cause a distraction to theeducational process.• Students can and will be sent home ifample time has been allowed to fix theproblem and nothing has been done.

What happens when thedress code is violated?• We ask the student to change or simplytake off the offensive item. Most of thetime, the student has something else towear. The school also has T-Shirts that canbe loaned out.• We call home or work if the student doesnot have something else to wear. A familymember can bring something moreappropriate to wear to school.

What happens… continued• If dress code violations become ahabitual problem, disciplinaryactions will be taken. This canprogress from warnings, todemerits, to Saturday school, andeven to a suspension from school.

How can parents help?• Use your judgment. When in doubt,almost always, y,do without.• Make sure you see what they arewearing to school.• If you have questions, you can contactthe school administration forclarification.

If a cell phone is seen or heard itwill be confiscated.Parents will be required toclaim the confiscated item.
