Regardless, it is up to<strong>th</strong>e individual school’s discretion tomake final dress code judgments.
What not to wear. I.Tips for female students:1. Don’t wear short skirts.2. Don’t show your midriff.3. Undergarments will notbe showing.4. Your upper torso will notbe exposed.
What not to wear. II.REGARDLESS TOTIGHTS OR LEGGINGS,SKIRTS AND SHORTSMUST BE APPROACHINGTHE KNEE IN LENGTH.The skirt in <strong>th</strong>is picture is not acceptable.
What not to wear. III.All tops must cover<strong>th</strong>e upper torsoappropriately. Notank tops, spaghettistraps, or swoopneck shirts areallowed. The midriffmust be covered aswell.

Hair color and styles• All hair color must be a natural hair color.• Hair must not cause a distraction to <strong>th</strong>eeducational process.• Students can and will be sent home ifample time has been allowed to fix <strong>th</strong>eproblem and no<strong>th</strong>ing has been done.
What happens when <strong>th</strong>edress code is violated?• We ask <strong>th</strong>e student to change or simplytake off <strong>th</strong>e offensive item. Most of <strong>th</strong>etime, <strong>th</strong>e student has some<strong>th</strong>ing else towear. The school also has T-<strong>Sh</strong>irts <strong>th</strong>at canbe loaned out.• We call home or work if <strong>th</strong>e student doesnot have some<strong>th</strong>ing else to wear. A familymember can bring some<strong>th</strong>ing moreappropriate to wear to school.
What happens… continued• If dress code violations become ahabitual problem, disciplinaryactions will be taken. This canprogress from warnings, todemerits, to Saturday school, andeven to a suspension from school.
How can parents help?• Use your judgment. When in doubt,almost always, y,do wi<strong>th</strong>out.• Make sure you see what <strong>th</strong>ey arewearing to school.• If you have questions, you can contact<strong>th</strong>e school administration forclarification.
