October 5, 2010 Weekly Weather <strong>and</strong> Crop Bulletin 43SOUTHEASTERN CANADAScattered, locally heavy showers continued throughout the bringing fieldwork to a st<strong>and</strong>still. Weekly temperaturesarea, increasing moisture for pastures <strong>and</strong> winter grains averaged near to below normal in Ontario <strong>and</strong> severalbut hampering autumn fieldwork. In Ontario, rainfall degrees above normal in the wetter eastern locations,generally ranged from 10 to 25 mm or more in the main owing to the higher temperatures (highs in the middle 20ssouthwestern farming areas, slowing drydown of corn <strong>and</strong> degrees C) accompanying the tropical moisture. Highssoybeans.
