Getting married or having a civil partnership• You can apply to get married or have a civil partnership while you are in prison.• To do this, fill in a request form or write to the governor <strong>and</strong> give it to prison staffto pass on.• The governor will decide if the wedding or civil ceremony should happen in prisonor at a register office nearby.• You <strong>and</strong> your partner will need to sort out all the arrangements.
