No interest shall be payable on EMD amount.7. For Serial numbers 01 to 63 & 91, these will be launched for bidding even if one EMD isreceived per lot. However, bidding will be restricted only amongst those bidders who havesubmitted EMD. If no EMD is received against any of these lots, these lots will not belaunched for FA.8. For Serial numbers 64 to 90, 92 & 93 at least 3 bidders should submit their EMD onlyafter which the lot shall be available for sale through FA-10160061.9. The Service Provider viz., mjunction services limited will provide “USER ID” and“PASSWORD” to each individual customer, who will submit required EMD along withdocuments stated above, to enable them to participate in the dynamic auctioning process ofthe lots of their choice, to be conducted in the Website, www.metaljunction.com,www.mjunction.in. Before actual participation, the customers may obtain necessary helpfrom the Service Provider so as to enable themselves to participate in the Online Auctionprocess without any difficulty.10. It would be bidder’s sole responsibility to ensure the security and privacy of the USER IDand PASSWORD and they would NOT hold Bhilai Steel Plant / mjunction services limitedresponsible in any manner, whatsoever.11. Bidders shall bid Unit Rate exclusive of excise duty, levies, VAT, entry / exit tax, octroi etc,against each lot. The buyer shall pay as extra all Duties, Taxes and Levies as applicable at thetime of delivery.12. Bidders are advised to take utmost care while placing bids for the lots in the Online ForwardAuction. Any representation for modification / alteration in the rate quoted for the lot duringthe auction, or after the auction is over, will not be entertained.13. Any representation on grounds that bid could not be placed due to power failure, connectivitydifficulties, hanging of system while placing the bids or any unforeseen difficulties during theauction session will not be entertained.14. The decision of Bhilai Steel Plant / mjunction services limited shall be final as to the validityof any particular bid. The auction report submitted by mjunction services limited shall betreated as final.15. Final Bids given by the successful bidders in the Online Auction process shall be kept validfor 30 Days from the date of auction for acceptance by Bhilai Steel Plant.16. Management reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the bids or to apportion thematerials in any manner deemed fit and this decision shall be final.17. In case where the bids given by the customers in online auction process are not acceptable,the EMD shall be refunded within 7 (seven) days.

Letter of Acceptance / Sale Offer (S.O.) will be issued to the successful bidders whose bidsare acceptable to the Management.19. Successful bidder will have to make full payment along with security deposit including taxes& duties within SEVEN (7) working days (excluding Sundays and Sale Offer date) of theissue of Sale Offer. There shall be no extension for date of payment.20. Security Deposit (SD) is @ 5% of bid value excluding taxes & duties, rounded off to nearestrupee on higher side, for all lots. SD will be returned after successful completion of lifting ofmaterial from lot site.Example: Lot value on AS IS WHERE IS basis Rs.100/-Security Deposit @ 5% Rs. 5/-All Taxes and Duties etc. @ 10% Rs. 10/------------TotalRs.115/------------21. ISSUE OF DELIVERY ORDER –a. In case single lot is allotted to a buyer, Delivery Order shall be issued only afterreceipt of full payment along with taxes, duties and security deposit. EMD amountmay be adjusted in the payment.b. In case of multiple lots allotted to a single buyer who has not submitted separate lotwiseEMD, lot-wise Delivery Order shall be issued only after receipt of full paymentas per clause 19. However, total EMD shall be adjusted against payment of last lotonly.c. In case of multiple lots allotted to a single buyer who has submitted separate lot-wiseEMD, lot-wise Delivery Order shall be issued after receipt of full payment as perclause 19; and lot-wise EMD shall be adjusted against lot-wise payment.22. In case buyer fails to deposit the payment as per clause 19, EMD shall be forfeited for onlythose lots for which buyer have failed to deposit the payment as per clause 19. In addition,buyer shall be debarred till and including the next Forward Auction for Idle Assets.In case the buyer fails to submit payment within the stipulated period for any lot (out of thetotal lots covered under EMD of Rs 7500/-) for which Sale Offer(s) are issued to him, H-1bid of the lot(s) for which buyer fails to make payment, total EMD amount of Rs 7500/-,shall be forfeited and buyer will be debarred till and including the next Forward Auction forIdle Assets.23. Payment of Sale Value shall be in the form of Demand Draft (DD), Pay Order (PO), BankersCheque (BC) issued by any RBI Scheduled Commercial Bank, except Co-operative andGramin banks, at their Bhilai Branch in favour of Steel Authority of India Ltd., Bhilai SteelPlant. Payment by Cash, Cheque, and CDR or in any other form will not be accepted.
