As the people of the states becomebetter acquainted with the work of these institutions, whichis being brought home by the practical work of the agriculturalcolleges, the task of securing additional and more liberal,appropriations is made easy. Take one of the state universitiesfor example. Ten years ago it had a total attendanceof less than 700; today it has practically 4,000.
