Palmer, in the April SCROLL, substantiatedhis statement, by referring to articles previously published inthe Rainbow.One of the illustrations of the April SCROLL was from aflashlight photograph of the "corkscrew" on the river routein Mammoth Cave, where on a large rock "* A ®" wasplainly visible. It later transpired that the letters had beendrawn by W. .\. Speer, who previously (1887) had been oneof the founders of the * A 0 cairn in the cave. .\n article'75.
