Murphy, A X, and its salient provisions are as follows:That any part, parcel or tract of land not exceeding one acre, and the improvementthereon, and all personal property, owned by any Greek letterfraternity, or by any chapter of such fraternity, or in which any such fraternityor chapter is beneficially interested, whether standing in the name of acorporation or trustees, which is connected with any college, university orother institution of learning, and which is used exclusively by such Greekletterfraternity to carry out the purposes of such organizations, shall be exemptfrom taxation.
