The air is warmand dry. The sun always shines, and the hardshipsof city life are unknown.In part this is true. But there is anotherside to the changing seasons which mark thecycle of the sun's passage to the winter solstice.The summer iscomparatively short. Autumncomes early in September, and following closeupon the light frosts comes the Rocky Mountainwinter. Then nature shows her otherside, and for months the fields and ranchhouses lie under a mantle of snow.
