The Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) program is a voluntary, industry-driven effortdeveloped to ensure that future generations will have the same abundant, healthy, and productiveresources we enjoy today. Created in 1995 by the American Forest and Paper Association (thenational trade organization representing the United States forest products industry), SFI is aprogram of comprehensive forestry and conservation practices.
