Clinical diagnosis (Abdomen):a. Symptoms1. Rising ventilation pressures with decreasing Tidal Volumes (Vt)2. Decreasing urinary output3. Distension of abdomenb. Signs1. Bladder pressure > 20mmHg with any of the above2. Bladder pressure >30mmHg at any time.5. Treatment:a. Extremity1. Flexor compartment.2. Extensor compartment.3. Mobile wad.b. Abdomen1. Paralyze patient: if pressure drops below 20mmhg then consider nonoperativemanagement with diuresis. If this is not successful orpossible then proceed to emergent opening of the abdomen.2. Emergent opening of abdomen3. Placement of a temporary abdominal closure
