Awedand humbled by knowledge so unearthly, the astonished Greekearnestly besought to be admitted to its secrets. After the usuallength of waiting he became duly illuminated, and returning,astonished Europe with his piercing clairvoyance and wondrouspowers of healing.Lecturing at Ephesus the words suddenly diedupon his tongue.
