Chapter 11 - Assembly Design‣ To create a circular pattern of a part in an assembly:1. From the Insert menu select Part/Subassembly Pattern > Circular. TheCircular Part/Subassembly Pattern dialog box appears.2. In Part/Subassembly to Pattern, select the part you wish to pattern.3. In Center, select the axis you want the parts to be patterned around from theDesign Explorer.4. In Copies, enter the number of copies you want, including the original.5. In Angle, set the angle value.6. In Layers, Enter the number of layers you want in the direction of your centerline.The same number of copies will be created on each layer.7. In Layer Spacing, set the distance between each layer8. In Layer Twist, set an angle to rotate the layers with respect to each other, ifdesired.9. In Label, enter a unique name for the pattern10. Click OK.297
