How could selling all he had, make himperfect?Do all followers of Christ have to be poor? The ApostleJohn, as an elder, writes to Gaius, “Beloved, I wishabove all things that you may prosper and be in health,even as your soul prospers” (III John 1:2). John desiresGaius to prosper, be in good health and continueto grow, spiritually. Money was not the problemwith Gaius as it was with the rich man.
