Still, you know they can die,which is why you care for them so, diligently, whilethey are young.There is no promise that your parents will die beforeyou. In either case, the pain and loss is horrendous.Ultimately, knowing better, you accept the reality oftheir death and always live with their memory. Loveis love, but what type of “love” is first, and foremost?The greatest Commandment is very simple, “Hear, OIsrael: The Lord our God is one Lord. And you shalllove the Lord your God with all your heart [desires] andwith all your soul [life] and with all your might” (Deuteronomy6:4-5). Jesus said the same in Mark 12:29-31. You are only to love humans as you love yourself.If you love yourself first, and foremost, then, God issecond. Suffering the pain of those you love must alwaysbe secondary to God or you love yourself morethan God.God’s talents are not physical, but are to be used soyou can become like Him. The key is, to become likeGod (Genesis 1:26). God’s talents are given by God’sHoly Spirit, which is His power, love and sound mind.Spiritual talents are not temporary as human existenceis, but are eternal, and, therefore, worth much more.Any truth or doctrinal fact is always more than initiallyunderstood. Doctrine is just part of a whole asThe Apostle Paul said (I Corinthians 13:9).
