WHAT IS PROFIT?11another individual’s assets is similar to Satan. Satanwas created by God and hired to be His right-hand laborer.Originally, Satan was a cherub – an executivein God’s corporation. He was a light bringer of transparencyto Adam and Eve and their progeny.Instead, he became élite in his own head and decided,he knew better than God. He told Eve, she would notdie, but he deceived her. He lied, because he thoughthe knew better, and could fool her (Ezekiel 28:13-18).Mankind, at times, get too smart for their own good,when they are given too much. When you are poorand struggle to survive, it is not the fault of someoneelse. You can always choose to work, when healthy. Attimes, the type of labor may have to be menial, withlow pay, but you can still hold your head high. This is,especially, true when that person can live within theirmeans. This is in contrast to those who live “the highlife on credit or future hope.”WHO OWES US?Your existence is not predicated upon anyone else, butyour parents. God allows you to use what He created.Your parents are the only ones, besides God, whobrought you into being. No one else, other than yourfather and mother, or God, is responsible for you – nomatter how rich they have become. Their excess profits,which are from their labors, called assets, shouldbe theirs, to decide how they are to be used. No oneshould make demands on their money. That is the lessonGod tried to teach Adam and Eve in The Garden.
