This sounds strange to us, but the servant asked God to help himdecide. God helps us make the right decisions. Let’s write a skit about this story.Activate Faith (25 minutes)The Servant’s DecisionSet Up:• Place the costume items <strong>and</strong> the props where kids can choose among them.• Set the craft supplies where kids can access them.• Hang a bedsheet as a backdrop to designate a stage area.• Make several copies of the Servant’s Decision Writing Prompts.Activity InstructionsBefore the skit:1.2.3.Divide the kids into three groups, each representing one of the three acts ofthe skit. H<strong>and</strong> out copies of the writing prompts to each group. Read your partof the story <strong>Rebekah</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Isaac</strong> from the Spark Bible <strong>and</strong> Spark Story Bible.Answer the questions on the writing prompts to help you write your part ofthe skit. Leaders <strong>and</strong> Shepherds assist groups as needed.Have groups decide who will act in, narrate, <strong>and</strong> direct their part of the skit.Decide who will play each role in your part of the skit. Choose costumesfor the characters. You may need to share some of the props with the othergroups. Practice your part of the skit.Invite a couple of kids to create some props. Encourage creativity by askingquestions, such as How could you use the boxes to make a well? Place thewell onstage when it’s done. Create <strong>and</strong> decorate three signs: Act One, ActTwo, <strong>and</strong> Act Three.
